Black Heritage Tour & Concert Series

Morning at breakfast, thence depart the hotel for a site seeing tour of the administrative capital of Ghana, Accra. An opportunity to see a blend of the old colonial architecture and the modern day to give you a feel of the past and present. You will also visit E.B. Dubois Centre of Pan African Culture, The Black Star Square and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. Visit the Arts Centre for an opportunity to shop artefacts and native fabrics from Ghana and West Africa.
We will end the tour with a walking tour of James Town.
Accra at Night, visit Osu Oxford streets/ Republic bar thence to Jam Rock to have a reggae night feel

After breakfast, depart Accra for Kumasi. You will visit the Manhyia Palace Museum to obtain in-depth information on the legacies of the Ashanti Kingdom backed by centuries old relics, artifacts and history.
End the day’s tour at the National Cultural Centre featuring the Jubilee Museum of Prempeh II with a drive through the city with dedicated monuments to the memory of the Ashantis.
Overnight at Kumasi

After breakfast, lets drive through the forest zone enroute Assin Manso, the location of ‘’Donkor Nsuo’’ the river bank that served as the ‘’slave market and final transit point for the large number of enslaved Africans. Overnight in Cape Coast.

After breakfast, we head to the Cape Coast Castle, one of UNESCO’s world heritage site and memorial point of call to victims of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

After breakfast, check out and embark on a tour of the Elmina Castle, also one of UN World Heritage Site and an important symbol of the traumatic history of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.
Depart for Takoradi.
